The seminar will examine the posthumous representations of Osama bin Laden, exploring the persistence of his figure within the mediascape after his death. Through journalistic, audiovisual, and memetic images, the seminar will discuss how the last global enemy continues to reappear as an afterimage, a visual residue, and a device of political memory.
